The group shot Seniormost trekker N Basavaraju from Chitradurga flags off the 2nd day trek to Devakunda. The doctor, Vijesh and master of many trades Dinesh Holla off towards Devakunda. As the trekkers leave to Devakunda, the camp site looks empty all of a sudden. The Megani Camps Site As the participants move towards Devakunda, we wait for our lunch being prepared. Delicious Curd Rice. On the morning of the final day, participants getting ready for the last stretch of the trek to Hulkadike. The oldest man at Megani! Guruduth shoots him! Trekkers getting ready to trek to Hulkadike. For the memories of Megani. Guruduth was off to Hulkadike with the participants and we bundled everything into transport and rushed to Hulkadike. Basavaraju who got injured and could not continue the trek came with us and was given Partcipation Certificate at Kollur Bus Stand itself. We had some difficulty getting to Kollur from Megani. And just managed to reach Hullkadike only 15 minutes before the participants arrived. The husband and Wife pair among the organisers Suhas-Sowmya lead the participants as the first group touches down at Hulkadike. Ramesh Kamath is just elated to have completed a wonderful trek. Thats Jagadish and following him is his buddy Ravi. Jagadish and his friends carry a plastic bag and collect whatever plastic or oter wastes on the way. Thats what he accumulated during the day in that blue plastic bag. In the second pic one of us Rajesh Nayak, leads the participant Mohan Rao across the final line at Hulkadike. To be honest, none of us (the organisers), believed that Mr.Rao would last the duration. But he did. Great effort from him. And in the last pic thats Ayush, all of 6 years old, and again he like Mr.Rao proved us wrong and managed to cling on to his dad and finished the trek in style.

Rakesh 'Giraffe' Holla (seen here with his left leg stretched over that rock) made good use of his height and clutched the outstretched hand of that chap and pulled him to safety just 5 feet from the edge.
